⚡ JMFEST KA 2026 FEATURING VIVARUSH AND MAQIA ⚡
JMFEST is back again with JMFEST KA edition! This time with Visual Kei and J-rock!
JMFEST (J-MUSIC FESTIVAL) is a live music and talent showcase event organized by J-rock North Promotions Inc. taking place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It showcases up and coming artists, as well as popular musicians, from Japan and North America. Its aim is to promote a music exchange between Japan and Canada through live concerts and presentations.
This year we are featuring the following bands:
------------------------
✨ VIVARUSH ✨
------------------------
Vivarush is a high-energy entertainment Visual Kei band dedicated to spreading excitement through their music and performances. Known as a self-proclaimed “age-mi crew,” or “hype-raising crew,” they blend vkei glamour, humor, and a wide musical range spanning power-pop, EDM, and heavy rock sounds.🔥
Formed in 2016, Vivarush continues to bring excitement to fans in Japan and around the world. As they celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2026, Ruimaru, Yukimura, Toya, and Pamy aim to carry Vivarush’s legacy forward.
------------------------
✨ MAQIA ✨
------------------------
Founded in June 2025. Their very first one-man show on June 15 sold out immediately, followed by an additional performance on July 20 that also reached full capacity. Despite being a brand-new act, they have already drawn significant attention. ⚡
With their energetic presence on TikTok and Instagram going viral, their fanbase is rapidly expanding not only in Japan but also overseas. Blending the raw intensity of live performances with the wide reach of social media, they are quickly establishing a powerful presence on the global stage.
In only a short time since forming, MAQIA sold out both their launch one-man show and an additional performance.
The band has been actively expanding its activities not only in Japan, but also overseas, including street performances in Korea, one-man shows, and festival appearances.
