ABOUT
Friqtao, the Paris-born, UK-based pianist known for turning train station pianos into impromptu stages, has struck a chord with nearly 4 million TikTok followers, morphing pop, and hip-hop piano renditions into viral performances. With his signature beanie and headphones - now synonymous with his brand - Friqtao is ready to embark on a new chapter in 2025. He is set to continue releasing music and step into live performance, eager to connect with the fans who’ve followed his journey online. Influenced by his Paris-London upbringing and love for a diverse range of genres, Friqtao’s music blends personal and innovative sounds, shaped by everything from Michael Jackson blasting in his childhood home to discovering trailblazers like Avicii and XXXTENTACION in later years.
His journey truly took off when he discovered pianos scattered around Parisian train stations and began capturing viral moments with covers of artists like Harry Styles, Kanye West, and Mac Miller. His viral rendition of Harry Styles’ As It Was in 2022 sparked daily TikTok content creation and meaningful interactions with fans, driving his goal to make the piano feel accessible and alive through a contemporary lens.
Friqtao’s debut EP, Lifestream, is a raw, minimalist yet powerful collection of piano-driven compositions sonically reflecting his life, experiences, and the musicians who inspire his “positivity-focused” sound, such as Flawed Mangoes. With a vision for stripped-back, intimate live shows and a focus on connecting with his audience, Friqtao is poised to take the stage in 2026, offering an immersive, meditative experience for listeners everywhere.
